Paper Description
Paper Structure
The paper will be taught through fortnightly workshops as well as in the Professional Experience setting.
Students will be in schools for Professional Experience 1 on the following dates:
- A two week block professional experience: 8th February- 19th February 2021
- Weekly on Wednesdays except for the university recess
- A five week block professional experience: 7th June- 9th July 2021

Assessment
In order to meet the requirements of TEPRO510, students will need to submit all required documentation.
This includes a collection of evidence garnered from the following sources: an e-portfolio including progress made towards Key Teaching Tasks (KTTs) and Professional Experience documentation that demonstrates a satisfactory level of teaching practice based on Our Code, Our Standards and the Key Teaching Tasks. The professional experience documentation will include both mentor teacher and evaluative lecturer reports which demonstrate a satisfactory level of teaching practice.
Assessment Components
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.

Workload
Students will attend all Professional Experiences as per handbook i.e. 7:30 - 5:00 each day. These requirements will differ between mentor teachers and schools.
Students will attend face to face workshops fortnightly (up to two hours per session). There may be preparation expected before workshops (for example, writing up reflections from base day attendance, completion of set tasks).
